I am in the process of planning a 2-3 week expedition to Yemen for 2010 and am interested to hear from anyone who has been there/lived there/worked there in the past 10 years. G 400 camels! that is a lot of camels , to get 50 good ones is hard and then their drivers will be interesting, I just started to run small trips of 5 to 7 days and we have 10 of our own camels and hire in the rest and its hard. Good luck Nat;
If you get it off the ground it will be a good trip with all these animals and people..

Prices are high due to the winter season, there is always something going on. which end of town did you want to be ? Old part or the modern. some hotels like the Ramee group have places like Regal Plaza or Regal which will be around 800 DHS. B/B. Deria or Bur Dubai you should find plenty. If you want a beach then your going to pay more.

I love Jerusalem - it is authentic, has the best weather, and offers a great deal of attractions for every taste.

It could be that is all about prescription and stereotype although Jordan has proven and over so many years that security is on TOP priority since the economy relies heavily on tourism and the country track record easily proves so, the mystery remains.
